Police Shoot and Kill Mentally Ill Man after Attack
31 yo Robert “Bo” Hansen Jr was shot and killed after attacking a police officer outside his home Saturday night. The 6’2″ 350lb Hansen had knocked the female officer down and began striking her. A 2nd female officer shot him in the chest fatally.
Earlier that evening Hansen had attacked his father for no apparent reason. Hansens mother called 911 and explained her son was a very large man with mental problems. When the officers arrived Hansen approached and was pepper-sprayed unsuccessfully.
